We are looking for an outstanding Customer Support Consultant to use their people and communication skills to help improve the lives of companion animals.

What can you expect?

As a Customer Support Consultant for IDEXX, you will phone support to veterinarians and other customers related to laboratory services. The position is heavily phone-based, responding to customer phone and electronic communications. You will answer customer questions, explain products and services, and perform customer order entry, billing, or other priorities. You will determine customer needs, research and provide solutions, and coordinate with other team members as needed.

Schedule:

This is a full time (40 hr/wk) position with varying hours in a call center environment. The call center is open Monday-Friday between 8:00am and 12:00am with a Saturday and Sunday rotation 9:00am-10:00pm. The hours of the position may vary slightly based on business need. Reliable and dependable attendance is an essential function of the position. Adherence to attendance-related policies and expectations is critical to this position.

The ideal candidate will have:

A proven track record of providing exceptional customer service
Ability to learn quickly and apply skills and abilities to a variety of customer interactions
Strong ability to problem solve with attention to detail
Experience in a technically related field, veterinary practice, laboratory setting, and/or contact center environment is preferred
An Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in a computer related discipline or scientific discipline preferred or equivalent experience
Strong written and verbal communication skills; strong interpersonal skills with ability to establish rapport quickly
Highly motivated and goal-oriented, while working collaboratively for team success
Strong organizational skills, especially in a multi-tasking environment
