What will you do?
The Order Manager will oversee reviewing, translating, coordinating, communicating and take actions between Customer and internal stakeholders (different factories) to meet contract requirements. They will also be the main point of contact for customers being responsible to manage all deliveries, prepare reports, manage milestones, manage risks and opportunities for all Orders assigned.
This position requires the candidate to have strong aptitudes in document translation in both languages and be able to produce bilingual minutes of client meetings as such the successful candidate shall be perfectly fluent in both French and English and have excellent written and verbal skills.
Planning: The Candidate will work with the various stakeholders to develop the appropriate execution plans with detailed schedules, tasks, duration, and accountability to ensure timely project/order deliveries, including homologation topics.
Communication: The Candidate will be supported by strong technical resources in English and by the sales team. Communications with the client are in French, especially for activities in direct relation to orders and project management. Some English communications may arise for technical matters.
Time management: The Candidate must be apt to work under tight deadlines and demonstrate flexibility in dealing with multiple objectives.
Quality & satisfaction: The candidate must monitor the timely completion of activities / tasks which have a direct impact on Siemens and Customers KPIs. The position requires proactively monitor client satisfaction levels.
Monitor progress: The Candidate will proactively communicate customer satisfaction levels, managing proactive written and verbal reporting of the projects progress to the client and ensure the project remains on schedule.
Manage Customer Requirements/Expectations and address issues until final resolution.
Performs contract reading and derives actions concerning risks, opportunities, and contractual obligations.
Regularly performs lessons learned activities and feeds the results into own project and across-organization.
What will you need to succeed?
Minimum 3 years of working experience in Order Management or Project Management with customer focused mindset.
Successfully obtained a degree in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering or technical diploma in a related field (Equivalent experience will also be accepted).
Experience working with the Office suite proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint
PMP (Project Management Professional) certification from PMI or Prince2 is an asset.
Willingness of regular travel to meet customers (USA and Canada mainly).
Fluent knowledge of English (written and spoken)
Fluent knowledge of French (written and spoken)
SAP Knowledge/ user is an asset.
Shall be experienced in handling complex projects and homologation products involving multi-cultural, multi-national/regional, diverse group of project members and stakeholders.
Strong analytical, critical thinking, problem solving, conflict resolution and negotiation skill.
Experience on achieving goals and customer affairs, initiative and proactive, self-oriented and willingness to work in team.
Strong and confident presence in front of customers
