The Coordinator - Client & Community Relations (the Coordinator) is responsible for developing, implementing and maintaining comprehensive client and community relations processes at St. Joseph\'s Care Group (SJCG). The Coordinator plays a key role in promoting partnership opportunities across St. Joseph\'s Care Group, with specific focus on Indigenous and Francophone populations.

Qualifications:

Education/Experience:
College or University in a field related to community relations, public relations, or communications.
Two years in a client and community relations role, or similar, preferably in a healthcare environment.
Experience in working with volunteers.
Knowledge of interpreting and meeting legislation and regulations.

Skills/Abilities:
Advanced use of software including Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
Superior ability to communicate effectively and concisely, both orally and in writing to a variety of audiences that builds support, educates and promotes understanding.
Development of frameworks, guidance and promotion for corporate uptake of initiatives.
Effectively prioritize urgent and emerging activities, and negotiate change to meet deadlines.
Experienced in identifying broader system issues to the appropriate stakeholders for positive change.

Assets:
Knowledge of Indigenous cultures, languages and traditions
Able to communicate in French or an Indigenous language

CONDITION OF EMPLOYMENT
Will be required to review and abide by St. Joseph\'s Care Group\'s Policy IMS-04-005 COVID-19 Immunization
Will be required to travel to various work locations and provide own transportation.
